phonic books for older children

I am looking for phonics books that are still at the level of short vowel words (with beginning and end blends) for a 9/10 year old who finds the usual series quite babyish.

I know there are various series designed specifically for older interests - any personal recommendations? (Also, not all of them have books that are graded in progress - some include lots of long vowel sounds etc right from the beginning, which is not what I'm looking for at the moment)

I recommend www.phonicbooks.co.uk/ both Totem and Magic Belt series.

Not a reading book but a phonic dictionary has helped my 9yr dd with her phonics.

Thanks; things like the Magic Belt series look really good, and come in simple levels. He enjoys being read to from some of the popular chapter books with magic and fantasy, so those might appeal.

I have a phonic dictionary, and quite a few phonic resources, but they mostly appeal to younger children, and it's hard work finding things to suit an older child.
