Would you let your Y4 child read or listen to this story?
Thanks

Yes! My reluctant reader DS read Scorpio in year 4 (one of the few books he has read all the way through). There is one in the series which caused me some panic, as it has a chase against a drug dealer at the start, and I had to give an off the cuff quick talk about what a drug dealer was, and why taking drugs was not a good idea.

Dd1 started reading the Alex Rider set in year 4. She loved them.

My Year 3 DS read it a few months ago. He is now reading Point Break. He found some bits a bit scarey. He also listed to Anthony Horowitz at the South Bank Centre recently and enjoyed it immensely.

Thanks - it's just I have them at home as all mine have read them and I was wondering whether to put them on the bookshelf at school or not.
Thanks for the website - it was interesting to read. I'm not putting The Hunger Games on there though - I don't think it's suitable for Y4.
