DD was born end September 2010. We have been told by our school of choice that she will be eligible for the 2015 intake for Reception, i.e. when she is 5. Does this sound right? Could we be told differently, i.e. that she would be eligible for 2014 intake, by other schools?
Possibly a daft question - but in my defence DD is my first (so haven't got a clue what I'm doing 
) and her birthdate can make things a bit of a moveable feast in terms of which year children are placed. I was born at the beginning of September and was the oldest in my year. But there were girls in my class born at the end of September the year after me, who were the youngest in the year.
Would welcome any thoughts!
