does anyone had experince to pay the good school standard advice service to get a good state primary school place in london or uk?becasue I'm overseas,need to find a good school then move to uk,could anyone give me some advice ,are there more good advisers charge reasnable price to get in to a good primary school in london,many thanks.lillian

You can't get into any primary school in London without first having a permanent address in London (and be living in it). You cannot employ someone else to do this for you.

If you are applying for a reception place for 2013, then you need to have this in place before the 15th January as that is the deadline for applications.

Your best bet is to identify the area you want to live, get the list from the council that shows you the greatest distance that was admitted last year and try and find a school that you like and a house well within that distance.

School places in London are a huge bun fight in both state and private sectors. The birth-rate has gone up massively and any decent school is likely to be massively over-subscribed, so unless you are looking for entry in Year 2 or above, you need to make sure that you can meet that deadline. Otherwise you will be given whichever school is nearest and has a vacancy - could be over an hour away and unlikely to be a popular school (until you have an address you won't be allocated a school at all).
