Aside from the unoriginal clothes line & pegs, or the picture pockets www.amazon.co.uk/Picture-Pockets-Kids-Art-SIZE/dp/B00270CYGO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1347388094&sr=8-1, how do you display your childs artwork? I don't want to hide it away or throw it out so want her to see that we are proud of it. What do you do, without blutak-ing all the paint off your vintage kitchen?!

Fridge, max of 2 per child. Any new stuff means an old one is taken down and lovingly stored in a box for the future or filed in a special place (dustbin).

Fridge. Also, Big, nice, A4 ring binders with clear plastic inserts. They can told about 100 pages and we have several - they are not on display as such, but the children know we treasure their art work.

We have a cork display board in the play room, I tend to pin new stuff over old and put it all in a box when it gets to full then start again. I have heard of people scanning it then having it on a slideshow function on a digital photo frame but that seems a lot of effort.

At a friend's house (a super lovely lady with 3 kids and still lots of energy), I saw that she stuck the kids' masterpieces on the downstairs toilet walls. I thought it was such a great idea! The children got to see that their work was on display, not hidden away. And for the grown ups, it was not on display in a reception room, with the nice furniture etc.

Washing lines across the room? That's how I display my class' work!

Hi chichinwellies

I personally go for two pegs on my kitchen wall and taping school certificates & other special things to the cupboard doors for my DDs. display pegs via amazon here: www.amazon.co.uk/This-Weeks-Masterpiece-Childs-Artwork/dp/B002KGNVJO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1347427705&sr=8-1

My DH displays quite a bit in his office at work as well (but it's the kind of workplace where that happens a lot).

Two fo my friends (different towns) have given up the wall by the kitchen table to current artwork. It's constantly rotated and can include more formal school work/ good test results (especially as they get older - one DC is in senior school). But it means that their good work has a fuss made over it.

We all have a clear out each half-term/ end of vacation - we keep a few precious ones (and all certificates) & send the rest to family & friends for their fridges and/or work.

A very together friend - scans in her favourite artworks and then uses the images for things on those photo sites (t-shirts/ mugs/ mouse mats etc... and gives them as presents). She made a t-shirt out of her youngest's stick figure drawings and had the caption 'Picasso had to start somewhere' put on for both grandmas one Christmas. It was a real hit.
