Girls school shoes with rubber toes - Please help

I need to find black school shoes with rubber fronts in size 12.5 or 13 E/F fitting. Clarks don't have any showing online. Last year she had some Sketcher's but they didn't last very long as the straps broke.

I have found Hush Puppies but even with the correct insoles they are too wide but as a last resort I will get them

Any suggestions?

I always get DD boys shoes. There's loads of them with rubber toes.

Really....shoe manufactures listen up! You're missing a trick...it's WRONG that there are plenty of boys shoes like the OP wants and none for girls! I will have a google OP.

Here OP not cheap though Shock

And these from the same shop by manufacturer "Noel" they're French dontcha' know

Unfortunately I have a girl who wants pretty shoes but acts like a tomboy! If I could find any boys shoes that she would consider acceptable I'd get them.

I was really surprised that Clarks don't even have one in their range :O(

DD3 tried on a pair by either Petasil, or Richter I think a couple of weeks ago. She has a very slim D foot though, and they just didn't fit, they would probably be fine on and E fitting. They were relatively pretty, though I can't remember the detail. They stuck in my mind because a rubber toe is so rare.

I know this isn't much help, but if you know a shop which stocks those brands, it might be worth a go.

Ricosta Judy, used to have rubber fronts, they have them in Pares footware online. The picture shows them without the rubber front so you might want to ring and ask but they are really hardwearing and the insole comes out so you can put another one underneath if they are a bit wide. They are quite narrow though.

Good luckSmile

Also Ecco fantasy is a good shoe for narrow feet. I put an insole under the shoe insole and they lasted a whole school year. £50 though.
Pares is near me and they are a bunch of miserable buggers. See if you can find them from someone else?!! They don't deserve the Mumsnet treatment.
I like Hobson.

I recommend the Froddo. The brogue velcro ones are our favourite. they're narrow fitting and have lasted our sporty, tree climbing daughter the full school year now 3 years in a row. The patent ones definitely scuff less than the plain leather. £43-£50 though

Pengweng · 01/08/2017 18:12

Startrite have a few pairs in that size with the toe bumper.

They are about £50.

Sevendaysinaweek · 01/08/2017 19:36

These Clarks ones go up to 12.5

nonicknameseemsavailable · 01/08/2017 21:32

I think some Geox ones do

Boofy1 · 02/08/2017 20:05

I second Seven - the Clarks Lilfolk ones are great and my VERY active DD hasn't killed them: www.clarks.co.uk/c/Lilfolk-Bud-Inf/p/26126818
