Where can I find a copy of the Early Years Curriculum?

I have a DD aged 4 (July b'day). We have decided to postpone her entry into school until at least age 5 (Sept 2013). We are also considering homeschooling.
I would like to know what kinds of things she would have been covering in school this year so that I can introduce some aspects through crafts, play etc (as I am worried that she may be behind her peers if she does start school late).
Please can someone direct me to where I can find a copy of the EYF curriculum and sites which are useful for learning through play. I need some ideas as I struggle to think of creative things to do with her that would also help her learn.
Thanks in advance!

I would do reading simple books (get Big Cat Phonics books, Oxford Reading Tree or the simplest Ladybird books), drawing, number recognition and counting, playing board games and using dice etc, cooking (great for measuring etc), shopping with a list, making posters, cards etc. If she is up for it, it might be worth getting her to practise forming letters correctly (but only if she likes this sort of thing). And get her plenty of non-fiction books - one thing I never realised was that small children love non-fiction books - try the Usbourne series of 'see inside' books like this one:

Good luck. My dd has just finished YR and the children in her class vary hugely in what they can do, so I wouldn't worry too much about her falling behind.

We are doing the same with ds, also July birthday and just 4. Read Tizard and Hughes 'young children learning' and you will completely stop worrying about her falling behind throughout not being at reception. Also Alan Thomas 'how children learn at home' is fascinating. And just keep talking and doing things. I don't know what your dd is like but my son hates organised activities to the point where I cannot set up craft activities etc as he will not do them. I found blogs like The imagination Tree very demoralising. So I now just follow his lead and go with the flow.

The Early Learning Goals are what the children are assessed against at the end of the foundation stage (end of Reception). A neat list of them can be found here at PrimaryTools.co.uk .
