Uniform-stretchy grey girls' trousers?

I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, but I'm after a pair of age 5 stretchy pull on (almost bootleg leggings?) dark grey trousers for DD when she starts school in September and they all seem to be more smart/formal trousers. I know these are still pull on, but I thought a jersey pair might be a bit more comfortable!

Has anyone seen any-either online or in a shop?

Many thanks!

I got some from Asda. I think Vertbaudet do them too.

MoaningMinnieWhingesAgain · 02/07/2012 11:07

M and S do them too.

If you near a trago in south west they do them for £3

Asda. Good quality and cheap.

I saw the M&S ones yesterday. They look ideal for newbie nervous girls who might fumble buttons and zips at the loo. Smile M&S quality too Smile

Do check your uniform list, as the stretchy type are not allowed in our school, only tailored ones, even for newbies.

I got the M&S ones for dd, they are a bit generous in the waist (and there is no way to adjust them) but otherwise good.

Sainsburys do them - they look a bit worn quite quickly though, but they're cheap!

AnotherTeacherMum · 02/07/2012 12:38

Can I also recommend the Asda ones- dd had them for pre school all this year and she has outgrown them without them looking worn.

picnicbasketcase · 02/07/2012 12:39

Yep, ws going to say Asda too - think DD's were £3 a pair.

We have one pair of M&S ones

www.marksandspencer.com/Girls-Junior-Embroidered-Trousers-Adjustable/dp/B004TDEHLC?ie=UTF8&ref=sr_1_5&nodeId=43636030&sr=1-5&qid=1341233189&pf_rd_r=0E92HZ4EKMTBVT6K7J64&pf_rd_m=A2BO0OYVBKIQJM&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_i=43636030&pf_rd_p=215570647&pf_rd_s=related-items-3

DD wore them on an outdoor day where waterproofs were necessary. She just pulled them up and said they were comfy. This comes from a girl who absolutely hates trousers and only wears leggings for sport and shorts in Summer.

My DD still likes the M&S ones. I do, though, have to put two large darts on the back of the waistband to make them small enough. As the fabric is soft, it's easy to stitch through all the layers and doesn't make them uncomfortable.
