Jubilee memrobilia for the children

I remember being given a commemorative coin for the wedding of Charles and Di by my school way back when. Our PTA is thinking of buying something to give the children to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee.

Has anyone found anything like this (am thinking a coin or mug) that isn't too expensive?

I am very wary about buying something that turns out to be rubbish quality from an online retailer who popped up to cash in on the rush for jubilee/Olympic goodies

Thanks

If you are going to be buying a large amout maybe they would send a sample first?

We have just decided to buy these rulers for each child as a commemorative gift.

Thanks everyone. I must admit to not being a huge fan of bookmarks (always lost in an instant in our house) and the ruler looks a bit old for our kids (4-yrs). I am still thinking of a coin I suppose but...

Any other ideas folks?

Our PTA wanted to give something but the head was not that keen as she thought the children wouldn't value it (and when she talked it thorugh I agreed).

Instead we are investigating doing an arial photo with all the kids on the field with different colours on in some kind of picture, so they have a photo of where they were that year.

My dd has designed her own mug in class for the jubilee which we can buy for £5. They were given some guidance about what to draw and on the bottom it says her name, the year and the occasion.

Coins will be available, but they are going to cost you - they tend to make them as a £5 coin, so that adds up, per child, and of course to make it special, in a commemorative box or whatever, it will then shoot up even further in cost.

In honour of the Jubilee on our hall table I've my jubilee mug, dh's and dd1's. It's a sign of the times that dd2 sure wont be given one. But never mind, they are horrid looking and tbh I'm not really sure why I've put them there anyway.
