how much do you tell your child about a parent-teacher meeting?

as the title says.
had one, all is good, but I do wonder if I should talk to dc about it.

I do. Usually a summary of good points, and raise any issues, but in a hopefully positive way ("teacher said you were fantastic, but can you please stop losing your PE kitWink).

Definitely not a blow-by-blow account, but a brief summary usually goes their way if I think it will serve a purpose.

Praise them - if praise is called for, obviously - but don't mention NC levels (If your school breaks the offical secrets act and tells you, that is Wink) and do not mention G&T/quite ahead of average; you don't want playtime level comparisons.

My dd sits next to me and the teacher talks to both of us. have done this in since yr 1 and now in yr 4.
