For what level?

I can show you APP grids (which are used by a lot of, by not all, schools) but it's far harder / more links if I don't know the level.

I'll give you this to get you started!

I am also interested in this. Is there anything out there that splits the levels into sublevel descriptors. Am particulary interested in KS1 as have a ds who is struggling.

Thanks

Sarah

All the APP descriptors are available here

...separately downloadable by subject as pdf documents - but this is not for the faint-hearted!

...and may well no tbe helpful at all

The sublevels are a judgement call.

Using the APP grids, I call the level 'secure' (ie a something B) if all or nearly all of the criteria are highlighted. If they are highlighted with a few of the next level, then it's an A.

If a child has a few aspects of a level, but not majority, I'd call it a C.
