11 plus free tests on line

Does anyone know any good websites that have free verbal reasoning and non verbal reasoning and other 11 plus sheets.

My son is not taking the 11 plus although we have been advised he has a very good chance of passing.

The reasons for this are complex and I won't bore you with them.

But I would be interested in looking at some 11 plus sheets and just getting him to do a few 20 minute sessions.

The internet is a minefield of info so I thought I would ask here first and get maybe some first hand knowledge of the best ''free'' sites.

We bought some in Waterstones, but school did have some they gave us for free.

If you mean for him to do tests online I wouldn't recommend it - thea'real tests are always written (or I assume this is case everywhere) so doing online tests would not be same.

Personally I wouldn't get him to do practice tests if you have no intention of him doing 'real thing' Don't know your reasons, but don't see much point in putting him through it. IMHO :)

I would print them out online and he could write the answers.

I would not be putting him through anything we do stuff like that together and for fun.

www.11plus.co.uk - has both free online and free downloadable ones. Also some free downloadable ones at www.11plusdiy.co.uk

And www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/free-11-plus-practice-papers too.

Meanmum - nothing wrong with doing some online for practice and to learn the techniques, or just for a bit of variety (and to save paper). There are plenty of other ways to prepare/practise which can be more fun than just sitting down in a quiet corner with a pen, paper and stopwatch - for example make use of dead time in the car to do verbal questions for vocabulary based practice (what does xxx mean, think of as many synonyms of yyy as you can, what's the opposite of zzz), and you can even get android 11+ practice apps for on the move practice.
