We do them on a regular basis, linked to food in a buffet style, plus some entertainment like a dancing performance or music.
Works well, are you thinking adults and children? Or just adults?

We did just adults because it was also a bonding exercise. We have lovely parents, but several different ethnic groups that tended to stick to their groups and not get involved with ordinary PTA activities. Food is always a good thing to bond over, little need for fantastic English skills and people ask questions and enjoy what's been cooked and appreciate the diversity.

Thank you. So did you start at 8, or when? Any hot tips for organising successfully?
