disruptive table

DD is in year 3. She is a sensitive, quiet summer born. She came home yesterday quite upset as she had been moved tables. She is now on a table with 4 boys. One of them in particular is very disruptive and picks on her. (Making fun of her work. That kind of thing)
I don't know whether I should mention it to the teacher or tell her that she has to suck it up.
Thank you.

I think table dynamics are a nightmare for most teachers I know my DD had problems in yr3 with who she sat with at first, I would give it till the end of the week and see if it settles if not have a chat with her teacher. I did as there was one little girl she just clashed with constantly ( both wanting to be the boss), once she was moved to a table of boys things settled down well. She's now in yr4 and still finds it easier on a table of boys, I'm sure the teacher will listen and move her especially if she's so upset she's not working well.

Yes I would definately mention it if your little one is upset, my daughter recently had trouble in class with a boy on her table and her teacher knew she was having trouble but she wouldnt say and it got to the point she got really upset and they let her move places. If its going to affect her work which if shes not happy it quite possibly will then yes do mention it to the teacher

I would say something to the teacher. Your DD spends a lot of time at school and sitting next to someone who picks on her is just going to make her not like school.

I know a girl, who was being bullied into doing the maths work for a girl on her table. The teacher had no idea this was going on until the girl's mum told her.
