Dd2 is in reception, bright but not very socially adept. She told us this morning that she and some boys had a new game, taking another boy's glasses. I of course told her teacher this morning, dd named other children involved, teacher said would who said she would talk with all of them (incl poor boy with glasses) and told her she was good to tell but not nice, etc. Dd told me she wouldn't do things if other people told her to again without checking with teacher etc (though don't know whose idea it was); also she was talking to one of her co-conspiritors about not doing that game again, so hopefully it has sunk in. Anyway, would you talk to any of the boys parents, victim or co-conspiritors, or just leave it for school to sort out? Would you want to know?

Just leave it to the school.

Definitely leave it to the school - hopefully they'll be able to nip it in the bud without it becoming a big issue, and you have no idea how the other parents might react and whether they'll go in all guns blazing and make the situation ten times worse. Sorry but upset parents often react way out of proportion to the actual problem, and it doesn't help the school approach the overall issue in the best way.

Thanks, I know she is only 4 but still annoyed with her. Hopefully this is the last of it.

I would definitely leave it for school to deal with.
