School Reports - Chat thread

How's everyone feeling about their children's school reports?

I've just got DS2s report and it's glowing - which stupidly makes me upset because he's a very difficult child at home, and it makes me feel like it must be me that's the problem.

Apparently he's fine at school and is only a monster for me, DH, the nanny and Beavers.....

Anyway, what are your school reports like? Do they describe your child? Or someone else totally......

Well bugger me, I'm blown away. DS's was great, as expected ( Y2). My big surprise has been DD, Aug born Reception. Her writing is very average and her reading way behind where DS's was when he finished Rec. ( although he had nearly a year on her being Oct born).

Well bugger me if she didn't do brilliantly! As expected EYFS scores for Reading and Writing but done so, so well in nearly all the other areas, I had no idea - I have focused on Reading and Writing but of course thats a small part of EYFS scores. Very proud of my darling girl.

Still waiting for my DC's reports...4 days to go. Perhaps they are leaving it until Friday, just to make sure there won't be any feedback.
