I work as a 1-1 in a pre school and the child has been ill with leukemia anyways he is now out of hospital and I was wondering would it be ok to ask the parent to go and visit him? I have been to see him twice in hospital

I'm sure they would welcome a visit.

I reckon it'd be appreciated but I guess you have to go with the school policy? Ask the headteacher if it is 'allowed'.

I can't see it being an issue, you work 1-1 with them every weekday... I'm sure he will be glad to see you.

Check school policy but I am sure the family would appreciate it. When my niece was very ill her teacher visited her in hospital and she really loved it. The teacher asked if she could come again and could she bring something. I am sure she meant sweets or a magazine etc and my niece said "yes, some maths homework would be good"!
