My daughter is in foundation and has up to this point loved school.

The last few weeks she has begun wetting the bed/wetting herself, sleep walking, becoming emotional at bedtime and not wanting to be left at school.

I have tried to sit her down to find out what is wrong, to which she complained of having no friends at school. I made an appointment to see the teacher who seemed really suprised and told me she is one of the more popular children and also complemented her in other aspects of school (sport, learning, concentration).

Nothing in her homelife has changed to unsettle her like this and the teacher was pretty sure there wasn't a problem at school. I just have a niggling feeling it is something troubling her at school.

Incase her self esteem needed boosting we had a girly day with another mum and daughter with cinema, ice skating etc.

Any ideas on where I can go from here??

Sometimes it could be something that we think is a small thing but dc thinks is a big deal. Or it could be something that happens at breaktime and the teacher would not necessarily know about it.
Don't know what it's like in your school but in my dd school at breaktime after lunch there's about 180 kids in the playground supervised by only a few TAs and dinner ladies who cannot possibly see everything that goes on. It could be some kids from other classes/older kids who might be causing a bit of trouble? Or it might just be a phase and nothing to worry about. No harm in trying to find out though.

Can you play "school" with her using teddies dolls, barbies or whatever. See what she does, what behaviours she comes up with that se relates to school - see what happens if you introduce the idea that one of the teddies is feeling sad at school?
