It's parents evening tomorrow.
Should I bother to raise reading yet again? (green band at home/ pink band at school dilema) Not getting enough of the story from the pictures apparently. Should I just leave it and rely on you lovely lot to keep me updated and carry on teaching her at home? If I do say something what should I say? Should I just stop banging my head against this brick wall of inflexibility?
I did wonder about going in really concerned about her confidence at school to read as an approach.
Point 2. IEP dd has difficulty with forming letters because the ot says she can't plan the movements in her head. The iep has listed needing warm up exercises and hanwriting activities. (good) Should it also include provision for composing using the computer so that they can assess her spelling/ phonics separately from her handwriting?
