Is it worth the money and is it useful for school holidays?

I have silver membership for 2 DC, as you get to choose the Reading schemes you want for your DC I think it is beneficial. The books are always in good condition and the DC love to receive them as they are addressed to them and we end up Reading them straight away.
I wouldn't cancel my membership until my DC are free readers. DC are 5 & 3.

All the library books i have got out have been in good condition and are free. we get 20 at a time. I could get 40 with 2 dc and renew them as often as I like. They have a reasonable collection of reading books although it is harder work to find books of dd's ability as they are not labelled in book bands. a variety of a little hard/ little easy is not necessarily a bad thing tho.

I think it good value - as previously I was buying extra books instead. We don't get enough school books and our local library doesn't usually have books at the lowest reading levels.

I started getting it a couple of months ago and its been great. Our library doesn't have decent quality books. I got a discount code off a previous thread on mumsnet.
