Hi, I have finally got my DS interested in reading, after much struggling, reading together etc.
Now I need some more books to fire him up further.
He is at present on the third of the Philip Pullman His Dark Materials trilogy and when he's finished that, where do I go next?
I have tried old favourites (mine that is) like Arthur Ransome etc, but he says they are boring.
I think the problem is that modern children are used to the excitement of computer games etc and want in your face action. He really likes Philip Pullman though, much to my surprise.
