We have a small school, with not much money coming in from parents when we do cake sales etc, but doing sponsored activities is very little work, raises lots of money and the children love doing the activity - we have a climbing wall locally, so the older children did a sponsored climb, three classes raised over £1000!

Bag2school (or similar).
Plant sale - we use a company in Norfolk twice a year for hanging baskets and bedding plants.
Football tickets. Local championship team has arrangement with schools. We distribute leaflet. Get reduced price tickets for a specified game. School gets money for number of ticket sales (we got over £200) for one game in December.
Quiz night
School disco once a term.
Summer Fayre
Christmas Fayre
Sponsored walk. Kids run round the sports field for 30 mins and see how many laps they can do. Get a medal and refreshments at the end. Usually make £2000+ for this!)

One of the primary schools here is charging £25 for a sleepover - teachers will babysit, anyone mad enough to have a go takes the child back to school after tea, they sleep Hmm the night and get collected the next morning. This is the Friday night before half term so everyone gets lots of time to recover.

I am sure they will raise plenty of money but whether it is a good idea or not is another issue entirely!

dikkertjedap we used these www.mapac.com/schools/fundraising/products/fundraising/ for the tea towels but I'm sure other places do it too. They sold very well but we only added a couple of £s on to what we were charged so profit wasn't huge.

Hi there. I saw this thread and wanted to share a business we've just come across which has worked brilliantly for us and delivers a lot of fundraising profit. Is called www.sniftyfundraising.co.uk just thought I'd pass it on as we've raised loads of cash really quickly using them.

Do your Xmas shopping via easyfundraising www.easyfundraising.org.uk/

Every time you start your shop via their site, the online retailer you buy from gives your cause or charity a share of what you spend. Really cool.

I've raised £171 this year already!!!
