These schools are our shortlist of prep schools. Does anyone have any opinion good or bad on these?

Ghoul You are right that the lack of an immediately available hug is the hard thing (from both sides); but we are very huggy at weekends and he knows that I "send" him a hug every night at bedtime.

It's not for everyone and it's not perfect; but on balance it works best for us.

Thank you for being rational and not assuming that everyone who sends a child to board is fundamentally evil!

Honeysuckle - Can you tell me the names of the schools that couldn't field a full team and had occasional boarders. Do pm me if you prefer not to mention them openly.
