Bit confused... dc1 planning to take exam in spring for entrance into year 6 (september 2011).
The bond papers for 11+ exams are marked as 11+, although dc would have been 10 or 11 years old. So what level should my dc be for taking this exam? 9-10y or the ones marked 10-11 years (in which case I will have to start panicking or abandon the whole idea..)

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I would expect it to be the 9-10 yo ones.

The school that you're trying for should be able to give you a syllabus for the 10+ test (especially for maths). You may well need to cover a mix of questions from both sets of Bond books. It may also be worth having a look at some different books to give a broader variety.

The 11+ is just the historic name given to the grammar school entrance test, and is often used by indie schools as short hand. Traditionally indie school had Junior entrance at Year 7 and Common entrance at Year 9, but some schools now refer to these as 11+ and 13+, with a few school also adding a Year 6 and calling is 10+.
