I am doing a PGCE and planning a lesson.

The children in the class are on a HUGE amount of different levels (10!) so I do 10 learning objectives to fit in with individual learning needs?

No definitely not! You pitch the lesson with the learning objective and will have different expectations of the children. I need more detail about the lesson though to help with ideas.

No, you pick a couple of LO and then differentiate within the independent activities.
Not all the ch have to access all the LO
If you can, make sure you ask higher level questions in your intro, open-ended.
I differentiate to three levels, plus G&T and SEN. If you have any in IEPs, make sure you consider how the lesson meets their targets

Differentiate by task, or by support level, or by giving them scaffolded learning materials.
Or equipment.
It would help to know the age and the subject.

I am trying to be vague but its for younger children in literacy. You have answered my question anyway, will set an all, most, some type objective! Cheers.

I have used "must, should, could" as a gentle way of differentiating LOs for younger children, e.g. you must get x done, you should be able to do y and you could even manage z"

I would only do one LO but differentiate by succcess criteria and task.

Have you looked at the seal material?
