Ah, so you don't mind when it's you telling everyone else what to do then - without so much as a 'please'!

devonvalley · 17/09/2010 23:27

Feenie - what a daft, childish reply!

Really? I dislike being 'told' what to read - never seen anything like it on MN before, in fact - I thought 'dictatorship' was what you objected to?

fiordgirl · 17/09/2010 23:33

Nursie - heal yourself.
Pure bottled water might do it.

bubbles4 · 17/09/2010 23:35

Continue what exactly?I thought the original thread was still going.

Feenie · 17/09/2010 23:40

As it was at the time of the op.

devonvalley · 17/09/2010 23:53

You are all from same nursery then!!! If you read threads correctly you would have seen that all in the family are fully fledged water drinkers except ds,who is nearly there.

That was for feenie and fjordgirl!

i thought this was a thread about sharing water bottles

Feenie · 17/09/2010 23:58

I can honestly tell you I have no idea what you are talking about, devon valley.

JiggeryPopery · 17/09/2010 23:59

devonvalley have you spoken with the HT/class teacher/who ever is confiscating drinks?

fwiw I think the school needs to chill bloody out realise that not all children are the same, and I think you've been very unfairly treated on the other thread.

devonvalley · 18/09/2010 00:13

thanks jiggerypokery.
yes, but head is stuck on the phrase 'water only' ignoring parent concerns.
Feenie- You are still have nursery age intelligence if you respond in the way that you and fjordgirl did! But hey were all entitled to our individual opinions!

OP posts:
Feenie · 18/09/2010 00:18

Okay - interesting theory - someone disagrees with me in a reasoned logical manner, therefore their intellect must be of of nursery age.

I do expect a more reasonable response from your average MN reply, I must admit. You said you disliked dictatorship - yet it doesn't extend to not directing others to post on your own thread which is still current then, yes? But only if they agree with you. Way to stifle a debate, devonvalley.

devonvalley · 18/09/2010 00:21

Just because one hurried post did not say"please" you judge me on that, now that is silly!

OP posts:
Feenie · 18/09/2010 00:27

It wasn't just that, it was the 'directing' on a new thread towards you current one. Bad form. A little ironic given the premis of your last post, I thought. And I am entitled to that opinion, just because it differs from yours, it doesn't mean that it is in any way intellectually inferior to yours.

devonvalley · 18/09/2010 00:31

Feenie i am new to mumsnet and did not know the threads worked in this way other sites close discussions down after a set period and so thought people would think i had just stopped for no reason, (but was ill) so does that explain things re :directing .
