DS2 is due to start nursery in January.
I have not even looked at achools.

Now my dilemma is I want him to go to a multi cultural school - unlike the school DS1 went to. This is not racism before anyone says it is, just DS1 went through hell at school for being the only white child in his class and only one of 5 in the entire school.

The problem I have is the area I live in is a predominantly black area, which doesn't bother me in itself iyswim?

Would it be worth it if I were to try and H.E a 3yr old?
Or should I look at schools?

Well that may well be the case but since I cannot get DS baptised this year in the local church despite trying to make arrangements since June and the deadline locally for applications is December I would be snookered if I needed the baptism for this years school entry.
Actually that makes sense maybe I cannot get my baby dunked due to all the disorganised mothers suddenly realising they need the certificates for December. Good job I have plenty of time.

That's brilliant, mamatomany, you've just neatly encapsulated everything that's wrong with the current state of the school admissions system.

Not sure about good schools rarely going bad - this has certainly happened to a few around our way.
