How can I explain to my DS (age 9) what a sentance is?

He knows he needs to use capital letters / full stops to start and end sentances - but he doesn't know what a sentance is.

Mrz - love the sentence doctor game.

What a pity it starts with a siren sound
:( DS has hypersensitive hearing and wouldn't be able to navigate to the page (unless I mute the computer) without getting agitated and cross and storming out of the room.

Lots of other good ideas here. Thanks everyone.

I use mute

Do you not fear that seeing 'wrong' constructions [in the sentence doctor] makes it more likely that they will be remembered rather than the 'corrected' version?

Another one to use with the sound off
