KS2 Literacy levels

My dd1 (Y5) has very different scores on her report for reading (4a) and writing (3a).

I understand that it is common for writing to lag behind reading, but I was wondering what her overall score for English would be. Y6 literacy scores tend to be published as a single result, so does reading and writing have equal weighting?

Actually, English is compiled of 3 areas, all of which have exactly the same weighting - Speaking and Listening, Reading and Writing. So it depends on her Speaking and Listening teacher assessment.

In Y6, you would normally receive the test results (Reading out of 50, writing out of 50, and English score is both of these added togther out of 100) and you would receive a teacher assessment of S&L, reading and writing, plus the English score when these are added together.
