Supporting the younger future generation

I post this with a heavy heart, crime rate is increasing and knife crime is becoming something which is now a daily practice and "survival" armour for children as young as 9years old up to 21 and over.
With social media apps and social networking being at the full front of most of this it is time now we speak up and support the Ban of social media in the UK and follow Australia.

This topic can cause controversy with people arguing that the "parents are to blame" and "groomers" yet when we dive into the phycological aspect of the age ranges of these children they are being lead by peers in some cases and school influences though we need to dig deeper into what the children are really seeing online, Us as parents can only protect them so much by ensuring we are using the parental settings to our advantage and also regularly checking phones and providing guidance.

Our children are not protected online and as a community we can educate and support the children as much as we can, the government needs to reassess the logic behind these support systems such as youth clubs and prevention teams,
are they supporting the child or telling them a list of rules of what they cant do?

Children need guidance and help building there confidence and decision making. Life skills are to be taught general basics in order to survive as an adult.

Parents what are your views?

Yes sir I will answer !

Is the crime rate increasing ? From what year baseline?
isn't life skills basically a parenting job ?

so what makes parents fail ? Poverty?

This isn't an attack on parents, is a general discussion and us as parents life skills are taught and supported. Some children in cases do not have stable home lifes and parents. Areas in poverty have the highest crime rates and that is a fact, now how can we best support the children who find themselves looking out for a way to make money?

tax the rich and give to the poor - we have known this since the days of Robin Hood

without hope and a decent start virtually no child can lift themselves up
