not keen on DD using a razor yet, currently in Y6 but she’s conscious of leg and underarm hair as it’s quite dark.
Will try and delay the legs until the weather is warmer and wearing skirts but underarm hair is quite thick!

What’s wrong with using a razor for her underarms? It’s the quickest way. For legs, I’d suggest waxing as it gradually thins and lessens the hair. Why not start now so it’s already improved by the summer plus her legs will be visible during sports and PE all year round.

DD (14) isn’t bothered unless it’s on show, so doing nothing at the moment . I showed her various methods in y6 cream, waxing, epilator , razor and she could choose.

She prefers razor in the shower , with a good shaving gel. No incidents so far.

I’d suggest a women’s electric shaver - they don’t cut as close to the skin as a traditional razor therefore she shouldn’t end up with razor burns or cut herself while shaving

Waxing is good, I grew up in a hot country and it's the way to go ar that age

Thanks all, I have actually never waxed, does it hurt? She’s quite sensitive 😬

I bought DD's electric razor to start with as it's gentle. Underarm hair is worth shaving as it gets sweaty, but leg hair I tried to get them to not be concerned about. Which they weren't, until secondary school when some girls bullied them about it. Girls are mean.
