Does being a vegetarian affect puberty?

Hey
I’m not normally a poster - just a mum who (gratefully) gets tips from reading threads from others!
I’ve got a situation that I can’t find a thread for so I’m looking for some advice ❤️
I have 2 daughters who are 12 and 11, there is 15 months between them. My 12 year old is well on her puberty journey - and has been for the last 18 months. But there’s no sign for my youngest at all.
Although they are so close in age they seem to be developing completely different.
My younger child is a vegetarian and I’m wondering if this is having an affect on her development
Any advice would be welcome ❤️

Weight is a trigger for puberty, so it could indirectly impact it if she is lighter as a result of her diet,

DD is 26 now, she was vegetarian from birth until she went to uni when she started eating fish. She had her first period the day before she started y7 ( Oct birthday). I don't think her diet had any impact. She's always been very sporty and a consistently healthy weight.
