9yo weight and build. Advice needed!

My 9 year old has always been at the top of the centile charts (95% since birth), and is now 140cm / 42kg, which the NHS app tells me is overweight. She doesn’t have a terrible diet (bit beige sometimes maybe 😂) and is active. She just seems to be built bigger. She’s starting to be aware of this and we’re talking about the importance of a healthy strong body, and how you can do that, but I’m worried this might get worse as she gets more into the pre-teen years.
I’m not sure what I’m asking really…has anyone else been here maybe? Do I need to address this as a health issue, or are some kids just built bigger? She’s stocky rather than properly overweight I think. And she has been diagnosed with a gluten intolerance which I think leads to her being quite bloated at times (we reduce as much as possible, and have gone cold turkey a few times before).
Also, we struggle for clothes for her. Does anyone have experience of where is good for this? Lots of her friends are in Nike Pros and crop tops and they just don’t fit her body type.
Sorry for the stream of consciousness and thanks in advance!

Girls rugby is your answer, it'll be mixed sex until under 12s though. A job for every body shape, forwards in the scrum are the strong and stocky ones, backs your speedy gazelle like ones. All body shapes valued for their advantages.

Does she want to wear Nike crop tops? Winter is coming they'll stop wearing them soon but I always found Next jeans and tops fitted well although moved from skinny to bootcut or wide leg where possible.

DD was always top of the charts she's stopped now at 5ft10, tiny waist, larger thighs (rugby), long arms etc so I buy her stuff from the Women's Tall section in Next for jeans / basics / school trousers. Otherwise she likes quirky t shirts, vests under plaid shirts etc which are easy enough to find although the sleeves often have to be rolled up as they can be a bit short.

Not relevant but shocked that 9 year olds now dress in Nike pros and crop tops!

Anyway, I don't mean to be harsh but I don't think she just seems to be built bigger. She is pretty overweight and her diet is probably an issue. My daughter is 15 and around 5'2 so quite a bit taller and weighs 45kg - she doesn't look underweight at all and is just very healthy. Maybe try and cut out the beige food?? She probably doesn't need to lose that much to be honest as she will hopefully grow into it as she goes into her teens. I wouldn't make it obvious but make her meals more healthy as at this age, you are the one controlling what she eats. If she eats a bit healthier, she will naturally become more slimmer.

Also how active is she exactly?? Because incorporating a few walks or maybe encouraging her to do a sport if she doesn't already might help. But I wouldn't worry too much and just make sure her mental health is okay as body issues can build up very quickly
