Is there anything that gets rid of them. Dd2 (12) has a few on her face that despite regularly cleaning her face with a mild exfoliating face wash ( we use an urban veda one which I've tried myself and is nice and not at all drying ) and regularly washing her hair ( every other day) she's still getting them. Particularly on her nose.

We've tried those nose strip things which did nothing ( I remember them being quite effective when I used them in my teens they must have changed the formula or something)

We all have sensitive skin so I'm very careful with what I use ( mainly vegan products as those have always been safe bet for us).

Is there some genius hack that gets rid?

Poor thing has been getting spots since she was about 7/8 but the past 2/3years its gotten worse but within normal , nothing that requires medical attention. They go as quickly as they arrive with some spot cream.

Microfoliant by dermalogica.

I had awful blackheads until I hit my 40s. MN recommended Clean and Clear blackhead cleanser (very cheap!).

I nearly didn't buy it because it claimed results within 24 hours and I hate products with ridiculous claims, but it really did!

Take her to a dermatologist if you can. So much better than trial and error with different products.

Blue light LED therapy is great for blackheads as well

The ordinary niacinimide and zinc serum

Salicylic acid. The Nip + Fab line are great.

I will try the clean and clear thank u. Seems the cheapest option . Although I do know someone who deal with dermalogica so I can ask her amd see if she sells it any cheaper . It seems to go for anything up to 65 quid online 😱

We are due to see the dr soon so I can ask about a referral then. Although we have been waiting a few weeks for another referral and heard nothing 🙄 our local.drs is like fort knox who need u to be dying before they will see u

You can get small bottles now for £18. It goes a long way and at 12 I wouldn’t use it more than a couple of times a week max.

They also do a charcoal version but as she’s 12 I would start with the lightest thing first.

Goodluck

I'd also recommend this. My 11 year old uses it whenever he gets spots or blackheads and it seems to work a treat.
