Skincare for 10 year old

Hello all. Not sure if this is best in Preteens or S&B.

What skincare products/range is best for a 10yo (girl, if that matters)? She has started to get a couple of spots. Was thinking a gentle facewash and maybe a moisturiser. Bonus points if not too pricey and can be bought at a supermarket or Boots/Superdrug.

Thanks!

At this age nothing but a clean wash cloth daily and warm water , really helps.

Thank you, literally just plain warm water and a flannel?

Totally agree! Products only strip the skin of their natural oils. And spots come from hormones, not from oily skin!

Yes, warm clean flannel. I have a little basket with lots in. Cheaper the better as being a bit rough they exfoliate.

I ordered some products off “Allkinds”. They’ve been great for my DD.

My 10 year old can't just do the warm flannel thing anymore because she has started to get blackheads on her nose. She needs a proper cleanser. A gentle face wash like Simple works for her followed by cerave moisturiser

Cerave cleanser. It comes in a pump bottle, my DD and DS both use it. Couple of pumps rubbed all over, then a flannel in hot water, squeezed out. I always remind my DS to really rub the cleanser off, not just wipe. If she needs a moisturiser afterwards, there is a Cerave one that is v light.
