Ideas for DD11 birthday party

Help me come up with something interactive, different and fun! Will probably be for a handful of girls as they've moved away from the big class type parties. So far, we've done:

Pizza making
Cinema
Bowling
Big sleepover (never again...)
Trampolining
Crafts making

Ideas please!! It's a funny, in between age!

Whereabouts are you? We did a small theme park at 11 which worked well. Only 8 kids as took 2 cars. Keeps numbers down too

We're in did it, Oxfordshire. I had considered kidzania r chessington, but they are always so busy so we only go on inset days. I loved the pizza making ones as it was low fuss for me, but she doesn't want to do it again. Am trying to think of a shop that would do something! And a pool party would be great as we could invite the whole class as a kind of year 6 last one, but she's started her periods and doesn't want to chance it!!

Lush do parties

Riding?
For dd1 we did a day trip to London. Kids for a quid knocked off most of the cost. We went on London eye, walked around to look at houses of parliament, big Ben. Selfies in front of buck house. Did a jaunt round Leicester square area and finished with a burger.

Some really great ideas, thanks! Particularly loving the Lush one so I'm going to call them tomorrow although judging by the website, they look a bit pricey!

We did the lush one when DD turned 11. It was nice for the, a nightmare for me as an adult has to stay inside the store.

Not the cheapest but as they also include an amount for shipping it cut down on party bags. No food or drink so we gave away cupcakes when the girls were picked up.

Personally I think the best party DD had was chocolate making, not only a lot of fun but they left with around a pound or more on chocolate products. We did some cake and drinks for a break and that’s it.

Pottery painting?

How about something like go ape?

We did a "Hollywood" party at this sort of age & it went down really well. It was basically a glammed up version of cinema & food afterward.

Invites to Hollywood birthday awards sent out, dress code glamorous.

DH suited up as their minder, escorted to cinema & picked up in our friends chevvy.

Lots of glitter, streamers & balloons in a net canopy attached to the ceiling, disco lights, fairy lights etc etc & furniture covered in sparkly fabric.

Mocktails in plastic wine glasses with umbrellas etc

Chocolate fountain & buffet food at tge back of the room, floor cleared for a dance area.

They all arrived dressed to the nines & ended up rolling on the floor in glitter & balloons like 5 year old by the end it, but it worked really well & wasn't expensive

I forgot the appletize champagne in flutes & awards ceremony where they all won something small & sashes etc

We did a Harry Potter party when DD was 11 - Hogwarts letters as invitations, sorting, potion making (bath bombs and lip balm) etc finishing up with a feast and watching the movie. Fill your own party bags from "Honeydukes" (jam jars of different sweets)

Took quite a bit of planning/ organisation but she and her friends still talk about it years later!

Thank you so much everyone - we've booked Lush and are going in there on Tuesday to find out a bit more about it, but I think you've given us enough ideas for the next few years!!
