So dd is 11 and I have just caught a whiff of her, she needs to start using deodorant.

Which one though? I use a spray but don't think that's a good idea.

Must admit to being quite ignorant of the ingredients in deodorants so not sure if there is something I should be avoiding.

I use pitrok and after trying many different ones, it's the only one which has worked. It's a pump spray and it's natural so switched when breastfeeding.

Thx do you think an 11 year old would get on with it?

Dd just uses a bog standard anti perspirant. She uses a spray so you don't have to wait for it to dry

Sure spray, the antibacterial one. It's brilliant . No smells !

Nuud - no harmful crap in it, works like magic, lasts forever. You buy a test sample or go straight in with a subscription, dleivered to your door. I use it, live in the Middle East, so sweat a lot - especially at this time of year - but it works really well. So much better than the high street stuff for non toxic elements. Getting it for my newly pongy 12 year old son!

I buy my daughter the Holland and Barrat natural roll ons. Nothing harmful in them and a lovely selection of smells.

DD and I both use the Sure maximum cream deodorant. Also if she uses shower gel, switch to soap - this made a big difference to my DD - and add Dettol laundry cleanser to things like school shirts if you find the whiff is lingering after washing.
