Sharing : Natural Deodorant I have discovered

I'm not advertising! Just thought I would share a discovery I have made today at Sainsburys. DD 11 has started smelling a bit armpit whiffy lately so thought it was time to get her a deodorant. I'm not keen on all the ones with chemicals for her (even though I use them myself). Sainsburys sell a deodorant for teens 'Keep it Kind' 'Missy'. Specifically designed for young, teenage skins. Natural ingredients ith no aluminium, no parabens, and no alcohol. They also sell a boys version and am aerosol version which I bought for DS14. Unlike a lot of organic/natural products it wasn't vastly more expensive, £2. Just thought I would share I wasn't aware it even existed as I haven't seen it elsewhere.

I am sure it contains plenty of chemicals as everything is a chemical/ contains them. I prefer antiperspirants rather than just masking the smells.

P.s. I have seen those ones in tesco too

I wish these deodorants were strong enough for me but they just aren't unfortunately.

It doesn't stop your armpits from sweating so they will still feel damp.

Why do people feel the need to be pedantic, you know very well the OP meant not harmful/harsh chemicals like aluminium, parabens etc (milder)

vulcan which of the chemicals listed in the contents do not cause irritation/allergies in some people?
Cancer Research reckons parabens and aluminium are harmless in anti-perspirants.

So - evidence that aluminium and parabens are worse than Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldedyde please?

Otherwise I am not being pedantic.

Oh well, if Cancer Research say that then it must be true.

What is this thing about children who need deodorant and stuff like that not being allowed to choose their own one?

Yes, whilst we do still need to guide and help our children, imagine your mum telling you that you must have this deodorant.

And if I was a 14 year old lad, I would go absolutely apeshit crazy if my mum came home from Tesco with a natural childrens bodyspray.

Sorry if I sound OTT

Sorry, didn't mean to cause lots of arguments or negative remarks. Just thought it would be useful info for someone, I wont bother next time. I thought the point of these talk pages was to share information. I am not naïve enough to think there are no chemicals I was just pleased it seemed to have less harsh ones than normal. And @twotoomanykids DS really doesn't like going shopping, I don't think it would even occur to him to buy his own deodorant?!

tumpy These pages are to share information, and the information you are sharing appears to be wrong - there is nothing 'harsher' about aluminium, parabens and alcohol.
