maths-equivalent to jolly phonics

Does anyone know of a pre-school programme for numbers/maths equivalent to something like Jolly phonics. DS 3.4 loves Jolly phonics and plays with letters on the fridge and in the bath trying to make words etc. but he is reticent to engage with numbers. I would like to make numbers and maths a bit more fun and wondered if there were any resources for pre-schoolers .

Can't think of anything... not sure you need a programme though.

Maths based games / play should be sufficient.

For example, toy money - just count the coins rather than their value initially.

Magnetic numbers - if he likes playing with letters on the fridge, get a numbers set as well. Wooden Magnetic Numbers

Counting everyday objects - stones, pinecones, dried pasta.

Sharing (division) - such as sharing sweets between teddies, or other children.

Number Worksheets - BBC Schools NumberTime
Number Flashcards

Number Rhymes - Counting - such as Five little speckled frogs, One potato two potato, 5 current buns in a bakers shop.

Numberjacks Online games

Going shopping - ask him to pick 3 bananas, 2 oranges, that sort of thing.

We use this - fun and teaches maths "properly" (ie I agree with it) and does all kinds of interesting maths like symmetry, patterns, odd
and even etc.

I found that learning the actual representation of numbers (ie the 1, 2, 3 etc) seems to interfere with the ability to recognise quantities. Better to teach those later after they actually know what 1, 2, 3 actually are. That's what RightStart maths does.

This one is a full curriculum of everything, I think. Friend recommended but I didn't look through it very carefully.

Also this one seems quite fun too.

Thanks for that . I know I sound a bit pushy it's more that I need a framework because I'm not very good at gauging things, that's why the jolly phonics really helped us. Will look up those resources.

My ds is 3 and says he likes numbers!
I do similar to what nannynick suggests.
I also use these counters. An abacus and cuisenaire rods.
We use dice and board games ,the orchard toys ones such as spotty dogs are good.We play the real dots(not picture) dominoes.

I just ask him maths related things during each day such as estimating how many I have of say apples and if I take away so many or add how many will I have now.Which is heavier/lighter,longer/shorter,more/less?

We have some scales to play with and do shops.
This has some good ideas.
I thought these books were good for ideas also._

AlsoNumicon is good if you want a specific programme.
