Staff changes, EY3 form

Hi, we've had lots of changes in the last couple of months and i need to tell Ofsted about a committee member leaving, the pre-school leader leaving and the appointment of a new pre-school leader and new assistant for one day a week.
Am i correct in thinking i can do all this on one EY3 form?
Also, surprise, surprise now that we have advertised a paid job (2 mornings a week) for a parent helper, they are all falling over themselves to get the job (minimum wage).
Am i correct in thinking that as they will be paid that i CANNOT use the EY2 form, but that i must use CRB agency (that we use for staff) and then get YET another EY3 form?
As i thought the EY2 form was just for committees?
Thanking you in advance if you can answer my questions

Also i'm a bit peeved that they are going to be paying the parents who NEVER used to help out and did not want to go on the committee.
But as a committee member i can't apply for the job but i'm still expected to help out.
They should change that stupid rule

Can't help with the forms questions sorry. I'm not surprised you're peeved, I would be too.

I'd be tempted to ask some really tricky questions at interview about committment to the preschool and how they could possibly find time to work as they were always so busy before and couldn't help. But that's petty and probably not legal!

Hope you find someone suitable for the new job

Sorry but can't help with the forms either! But thinking I should know what these forms are?

Almost had to go down the extra member of staff route, but parent's finally seemed to get the message - help out or your fees are going up!

If you want the job yourself, can't you step down from the committee and apply for it?

Ripeberry · 29/04/2009 22:42

Misshardbroom, because no-one wants it and anyway i can't until the AGM in September.
I had a word with our local council and they said that both forms should be filled in anyway.
Maryon, have a look on www.ofsted.gov.uk and type in EY2 in search and it will show you the form.
Expensive to print out! 23 pages long and i had to give out 9 of them last year for the new committee .

Ripeberry,
Which Constitution do you have? The new PLA one allows members of staff who are fsmily members of associate members to be on the Committee.

Burstingattheseams · 30/04/2009 13:42

but only to receive payment for work not related to committee work - so you could be paid for working at preschool BUT you could't claim for the endless endless endless hours we poor committee member put in running the preschool....I've forgotten what my own children looklike .... also could make the interview process interesting if you try to interview yourself....
