Music/Piano resources for pre-school children

I want to preface my post by saying that I am not a tiger mum, and I have absolutely no ambitions to make a professional musician out of my child. My child really enjoys music and dance—she has dance classes once a week and lots of singing and music activities at nursery. We bought her a toddler piano (3 octaves, 25 keys), and she really likes to play. It has stickers on the keys and a book with easy melodies, so we "play" together—as in, I guide her finger and help her press the right keys. Does anyone know of any resources I can use to make it more fun? I’ve found a lot of books, but they’re usually meant for children aged 5 and above.

There’s a lovely story orchestra “I can play” book which is good for younger ones. You match coloured shapes to play notes

The piano adventures teaching books have a pre-readers set of books. Might still be a bit old for her, depending on age, and at some point it will help if you know a bit of piano yourself.

Thank you both!

I'd recommend Kodaly music classes if you can find one near you. Music teachers I know say that children who have attended them from toddlerhood have an almost intuitive sense of musicality compared to children who have learned from primary age.

"Tunes for 10 fingers" is really really great for the absolute youngest and starts from the absolute basics of how to hold your hand over the piano before even starting with playing a single note. Can highly recommend! Loads of follow up books with similar names so make sure you get the first one.

Check out Irina Gorin on Fb/Insta. Also I like the Poco Piano series- it’s got stickers for the theory which little kids find fun. Have fun exploring :)

This looks amazing but unfortunately nothing close to us :(
