Kids party gifts for a 4 way joint party?

Hello,
so my daughter has been invited to a party at preschool & it’s a joint party between 4 children (all turning 4) I usually spend about £10-15 on a present for a party, but what would be expected here, what gifts would you buy/spend abit less? It’s for 3 boys and 1 girl x

This, I have no idea why anyone would do any different. Just spend what you would normally do. Also as far as combining it, that seems like a great idea, 3 less parties to go to and probably all the same kids going anyway. Wish more parents were smart like this

Perhaps because £40-60 is quite a lot of money to some people.

But it's what she was going to spend anyway?

Yes, bit... she'd be spending £10-15 each time...so...it's the same?

Or just do what I do and get them when they're reduced/end of season etc. I got loads of summer toys last year reduced down to a few quid. Three children have just received water soakers, that at full price are £24.99, I picked them up for £2.49 last autumn.
I also picked up a few puzzles and board games that had been reduced after Christmas..
Also, charity shops 🤷‍♀️

idea of a joint party is so strange, assuming they’re not quadruplets?
id be tempted to do a joint gift in response,

Not really strange. Makes great sense.

When you've got 30+ kids in a class, it makes sense to have shared parties. Costs are split 2/3/4/5 ways. You aren't invited to 30+ separate parties, 15 if which are at SOFT PLAY WORLD, 10 of which at SOFT Play FUN ZONE, 5 at village hall with disco and magician...
You have to give it less if your weekends for parties. My friends school parents don't share, and his kids had FOUR parties one weekend
, 3 of which were a the same place... !

Ime it's usually made clear on the invitation e.g. 'bring one gift and they'll be shared out at the end' or 'bring a gift for X'. If it's definitely not specified then I'd go with four cheaper gifts (book and some sweets probably).

It's actually a brilliant idea

Well it’s not necessarily the same, because firstly the child may not have been invited to all 4 of the separate parties, or may not have chosen to go to all of them. Plus, as a few people have said, 4 parties is 4 afternoons where no other entertainment/spending is required. If I spent £60 attending one party for 4 kids, I’d then have 3 more weekends where I have to find and potentially pay for some entertainment for my kid, eg softplay, climbing, swimming or whatever. Personally I quite like kids parties as a way of entertaining my child at the weekend, though I realise other people see it differently.

totally agree about buying reduced gifts and occasionally from a charity shop
though!

I’d spend same per child, and be grateful I’d only have to attend one party instead of 4
