School nursery uniform too big

My daughter is just turned 3, she will be starting school nursery in September.
They have a uniform - joggers, polo shirt and a jumper that has a logo.

Joggers and polo are fine as can get from multiple places. But the jumper is the logo's item and the smallest they do is age 2. She's quite small and wears 12-18 month clothes. Can wear some 18-24 months but they are large. By September she won't have grown into age 2-3 clothes.

I'll check with the school what their policy is but has anyone else had this with the required logo item being too big?

She would be dwarfed in it currently!

My daughter is 6 and still wears 3-4 cardigans 😂 they are well tumble dried but didn't shrink. I use matalan for her pinafores and polos and they do age 3, age 4 etc rather than 3-4, 5-6 so found they fit her better.
Her waist is exceptionally small so she's never wore a skirt, always a pinafore or summer dress.
Thankfully her school is fairly lax on uniform, as long as they have right colours they aren't bothered about logos.

My DD's pinafore came half way down her calves, meant to be above the knee, the flip side was that it lasted 3 years!

@Crockof 😂 I'm glad I don't have a tumble dryer as I'm sure I'd shrink every thing to doll sizes.

@Songbird54321 yes, pinafores do seem the way to go, they can't actually fall down if they are too big. Unfortunately the colour of the skirt/pinafore isn't available in any high streets. I can get from uniform shop or online (eBay/Amazon/some online uniform shop). Summer dress colour is though. Total pain, didn't realise before I signed her up! The other local school which is equidistant to me has grey skirts and pinafores so would have much more choice!

@gogomoto good value for money, and extra warmth! My secondary school uniform fitted the whole way through, I only had one blazer, one skirt..I was swamped on my first day. Ankle socks almost meeting my skirt 😂😂

@Peeeas ooh, thank you for that! I hadn't seen them. They'll be nice and light too, she hates clompy shoes

@RichTeaCheddars my son has the addidas tenasaur for school they are plain black velcro and played so much better than the school shop shoes they go all the way down to toddler size 3
They are trainers and aren't very girly but good for running about if she's in joggers
