Removing child from nursery

My little girl start nursery last month using the free 16 funded hours. she was only there two weeks and ended up very badly ill (had to take her to a&e). She had to take time off so they told us to bring her back after the Christmas holidays. I also just had a baby on the 15th of December so she's not settling too well with that either. During the 2 weeks she absolutely hated going and would cry before leaving the house. I was planning on just withdrawing her from the nursery and allowing her to adapt to all the new changes before trying again but I'm not sure what the process is with this if I can just take her out or not

They will most likely require 4 weeks notice (or you will lose your deposit.)

It all sounds a bit stressful. Poor you!

Do you like the nursery and feel confident that she is well looked after there? If yes, I think it’s worth persevering a bit. Assuming she is only going 2 days a week it will take a few weeks for the nursery to become familiar to your DD.

I would see how she gets on for a bit longer, she obviously wants to be at home with you and baby but if she's only doing 16 hours then she is doing a bit of both. Also will give you some one on one time with your newborn
