My dd (3 nearly 4) has in the last months weeks shown an interest in reading we do loads of reading together and I've started the ORT early readers books with her - chips letter eye spy etc and she's starting to pick those up well.

I've bought the learning resources hot dots Jr beginning phonics set with self checking dog pen and she had completed the pack in a couple of hours and I'm wondering what pack youd recommend next?

We've got letter bingo, and lr pop for letters, we go on letter spotting walks and play eye spy on the way to school or when we're out and about.

We don't force anything it's completely dd lead but as she's interested is like to capitalise on it.

Any ideas

I dont have a recommendation (sorry!) but I am keenly watching this one as well...i have so far left most DD's academics to the pre-school but would love to do something at home as well.

We have too although we do do alot outside of preschool in the way of out door play in natural environments pond dipping, mud walking, tree climbing etc, days out to farms, zoos, beach, national trust properties and friends around to play at home. But as she's so interested we wanted to incorporate some of it at home

The Hairy Letters app is great, as is Teach You Monster to Read. Jolly Phonics is great with an action to match each letter sound. Their workbooks are fun too (from Amazon) - some writing, some stickers.

I actually made a free typing game for young children that might be fun for your daughter. Whatever words are typed, such as their name, are spelled out on the screen in cartoon animals shaped like letters. Then it can be shared or printed. My own son is 5 and he still loves it.
