Non catholic child - catholic school?

I've applied to both a non religious nursery and a catholic nursery. We are atheists however after looking at performance in the schools in our area, we decided a catholic education would give our son the best chance. My questions are;

How is science taught?
How is sex education addressed?
Are other religions discussed?

Although catholic schools in our area have better results than non faith schools, I'm obviously a little worried about how they'd teach subjects religion may have a different view of.

Hmm Sostenueto yes that is ANECDOTAL. You CANNOT make a sweeping assumption about ALL non-faith schools through a sample size of four. I bet there is some bullying at the non-faith schools that you just don't hear about.

And it is perfectly possible to teach morals, respect and good behaviour without including religion

Yes, of course. But this thread is about someone who is non-religious choosing to put her child in a Catholic nursery school.

Lots of non-religious people go to great lengths, including being a bit deceitful, to get their children into Catholic schools. Why? A good atmosphere, resonable discipline and good results.

Among the Catholics in the schools, many are from poorer families. You are more likely to be born Catholic (how ever low the odds) than born rich enough to live in a good school catchment area in certain cities. So being populated with children entirely from middle class homes is not the reason for Catholic schools being perceived as good.
