Will my electricity turn off on March 29

Hello everyone, my electricity is provided by EDF Energy, headquartered in London.

However the company is wholly owned by the French state owned EDF (Électricité de France).

I've just spent quite a long time on wikipedia feeling like an idiot trying to work out if I will need to be worried about my electricity working in the case of a No Deal

Can anyone reassure or educate me? Ideally I would prefer no responses from Leave Voters telling me I have an anxiety disorder

I can assure you lots and lots of work went on behind the scenes to make sure that the millennium bug was not a problem. I worked for one of the main U.K. banks at the time specifically dealing with preventing problems and planning to minimise disruption if we didn't manage it (not just in terms of computer wizzkids working on computers but logistics for coping without computers - yes we planned to cope running an international bank without computers of any kind, it was kinda fascinating and epic). The bonus I got for this work was the deposit on my first house!
The difference with Brexit is we knew what we were aiming for and we spent an awful lot of time, resources and money to tackle it. Brexit is approaching fast and we still don't know what it is we are heading for.
