I guess that the critical question though is - at what point do you actually pop your clogs? Sure the infection could be spreading but you might be long gone.

I was expecting it to be much much longer than the averages you guys were posting but it took me to a very large hospital several hours away and then when things got bad would only let me fly to Stockholm, why I would do that rather than go home I'm not sure.

Oh thts annoying it won't let me pick which hospital, just plonks me in one miles from where I live, then because I'm there I can only fly to one place.

It didn't recognise my last house either.

This one, it recognises - but it wants me to fly to Istanbul or somewhere. (On what, I'm none too sure because my chances of getting anywhere near a working plane seem remote.)

26 days. Why would I go to 'the hospital' with a fever? I presume they mean 'you are bleeding from every orifice' or something more dramatic? With a fever I suppose I might have gone to the chemist's for some more aspirin. Guess it wouldn't be dramatic enough to conk out at home on the phone while still on hold to the GP surgery trying to get an appointment. Would like to see an NHS version of this.

Also not sure why and how I would get onto a plane, especially from London Luton to Inverness which caused rapid international breakdown.

Odd. I live quite rurally but it assumed i'd got to a hospital 2 counties away and stay there not sure it's entirely accurate.
