Pregnancy after full dilation c-section

Hi, I just wanted to see if anyone had any insights

I had my first baby this year and after 36 hours of labour and my baby been back to back I had a C-section at 10cm dilation I was told after this that in future pregnancy’s I will be at risk of preterm birth

I wanted to see if anyone else on here has given birth successful at full term after a full dilation section

I know I defiantly want another baby so feel a little disheartened knowing that after my first this may be difficult for me

Congratulations on your LO @Newmum1345.

I haven't experienced this but hopefully someone will be along soon Flowers

@Newmum1345 how did this go? I’ve today been told that I’m high risk with my second pregnancy due to having my last CS at 10cm

Not had a second yet but had a full dilation CS last December and was told there was no additional risk to future birth and I would be fine to go for VBAC. Obviously there may be some
differences between our birth - watching with interest for other experiences!

I had a cs with my first after 30+ hrs of labour and hours of pushing at fully dilated.

They didn't mention this as a specific risk above and beyond it being a vbac attempt with my second.

My waters broke at 36, nearly 37 weeks and I had a near identical labour, except for moving to emcs before reaching full dilation.

I also had an emergency C Section with my first - full dilation after about 12 hours of labour. I was planning a VBAC for my second, but towards the end of the pregnancy, my consultant recommended an elective C Section because she thought the baby was very big. As it happened, she arrived the day before the Section was planned. It was a normal labour, but super quick - about an hour and a half after labour started. I barely made it to hospital with a police escort (morning rush hour). She was born about 5 minutes after arriving!

I had a 10cm + pushing emergency section with a back to back baby and I was never told I was at any additional risk.
I chose to have a planned section at 40 weeks with my second but I was advised to have a vbac.
