Cholestasis and risk of premature birth

Hi
I have recently been told I have mild cholestasis (I'm now 29 weeks)
I had lower abdominal cramps this morning and noticed quite a thick discharge.
Since knowing and reading about icp I have been paranoid about risk of delivering early. My previous births were normal and I gave birth late 37-38 weeks.
Is there more of a chance of labour starting early or do the doctors say you may deliver early because I may have to get induced?
Any help would be appreciated x

I had cholestasis and my understanding was that if my levels went too high then they would deliver early rather than going into premature labour. I don’t think they let you go overdue with it but will aim to get you to 37 weeks at least.

I got diagnosed with cholestasis a few weeks ago. My understanding is that if levels go too high (over 100 BA) then they will induce early. Are you on the ICP Support facebook group? it's brilliant

I had cholestasis during my twin pregnancy and suffered terribly with the itching. My bile acid levels were 83 at their highest but the recommendations have recently changed and they won’t deliver early until they are over 100. I recommend the Facebook group. I also found that the Urso medication, though no longer recommended, really helped bring my levels down and reduced my itching.
